Urban Insects

For someone who live in the middle of the city, it's wonderful to see these creatures come to my small garden at my house. It takes a lot of patience to win their trust to let me approach very close to get some nice pictures.
A cool big-greenish-shining fly. Yikes!
Not sure what insect it is. It looks like a flying ant or large fly
